Tottenham Hotspur: Fans loved “special” Heung-min Son gesture after West Ham victory

Tottenham fans were in high spirits after their 3-2 victory over West Ham on Saturday, and Heung-min Son made one young supporter’s day even more special. When the players and manager went over to thank the away supporters, the South Korean international gave his shirt away to a young boy.
After his challenge which contributed to Everton’s Andre Gomes suffering a fractured dislocation of his ankle, members of his squad and pundits alike have been praising what a kind-hearted character he is. He’s not had much to smile about on the pitch recently, with his side sitting outside the Champions League places, but he’s been one of Spurs’ most in-form players this season. He’s scored four goals and made four assists in the league, contributing to WhoScored rating him 7.26/10 so far this term, the highest-rated player in the squad.
Celebrations following the win on Saturday showed the club’s feel-good factor is on the way back, and fans were pleased to see the video of the 27-year-old handing out his shirt on the club’s official Twitter account. They were quick to reply and tell the club how much they think of him as a person, not just as a player.
We 💙 this so much.
