The Nerazzurri are continuing to make moves for players in his position, with Antonio Conte keen to bring Arturo Vidal and Sandro Tonali to the San Siro Stadium in the summer.
Eriksen has begun to question his time at the Black and Blues, as he has only made 8 appearances for Conte’s side so far, scoring 1 goal and creating 1 assist. In comparison, the Danish international played in over 300 games for Spurs, picking up 69 goals and providing 89 assists in all competitions.
After running down his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the ex-Chelsea boss took control of the situation and bought the playmaker for £17m at the beginning of the year, but it is unclear if he will still be with the Big Grass Snake as he did not join to sit on the bench.
Unsurprisingly, loads of Spurs fans mocked Eriksen on Twitter after the news emerged, with one supporter dubbing him a “mug” and another adding “karma” has been served.

More chance to win trophies at Inter? Not if you’re not going to be playing for them, you mug!

Very hard to find the top gear needed once you take the foot off the gas imo. His demeanor and committment changed in the last months of his time at Spurs and his overall game suffered as a result. Just another mid-level player at this point in his career I’m afraid…
