Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have questioned the north London club’s potential recruitment of a throw-in coach after Kicker (relayed by Ricky Sacks) linked Spurs with a move for Liverpool’s coach Thomas Gronnemark.
The freelancer is not officially tied down to the clubs he works for, including the Reds, and he was speaking to the outlet about how he may potentially join the Lilywhites next year, but he is also reportedly considering Manchester United.
In the Question and Answer article, Gronnemark revealed that he values technique over strength when throwing but also admitted that a good throw is often left to chance. He also talked about how he became a coach and the way Jurgen Klopp approached him to work with the Liverpool players.
This seemed to work especially for Joe Gomez, who demonstrated his throw-in ability on international duty as it lead to one of England’s goals against Croatia at Wembley in the UEFA Nations League, according to Empire of the Kop.
Despite the Dane’s credentials, these Spurs supporters still questioned the potential recruitment of the throw-in coach, with one fan branding it a ‘joke’:
I dont believe this is a real job. Not having it. Nope.
