Tottenham Hotspur: Fans rave about Giovani Lo Celso
Many Tottenham Hotspur fans are raving about Giovani Lo Celso despite the midfielder scoring 0 goals and providing 0 assists in the Premier League with the north London club so far (via Sofascore).
Lo Celso joined Spurs initially on loan from Real Betis in the summer but Tottenham made that deal permanent in the January transfer window. The Premier League outfit would perhaps have hoped that he could add to the team’s creativity in midfield but he has not yet managed to provide a goal or an assist in 19 appearances in the Premier League. He has also only created one big chance and averages 0.5 shots per game in the top flight according to Sofascore.
The 23-year-old will be hoping to break his duck in the remaining league games ahead as Spurs aim for a Champions League spot.
Despite these statistics, Tottenham supporters still took the opportunity to rave about the Argentinian international on Twitter with on fan even calling him a ‘king’:
