Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react as ‘legend’ Ledley King is pictured in training

Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to club ‘legend’ Ledley King being pictured in training ahead of the north London club’s Champions League second-leg away tie at RB Leipzig.
King was club-captain at Spurs in his time and made a total of 317 appearances in all competitions for them, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists for the club (via Transfermarkt). Considering his injury problems throughout his career King still managed to rack up an impressive number of appearances before he was forced to retire because of ongoing knee issues. The centre-back is now 39 years of age and was perhaps unlucky back in his day to play with an England squad boasting the likes of Rio Ferdinand and John Terry in his position.
He was a one-club man coming through the youth ranks at Spurs before he broke into the first-team and earned himself the status of a club ‘legend‘. With Spurs’ defensive worries at the moment, these Spurs fans have reacted to a photo of him in training with the squad posted by Talking THFC on Twitter, with many fans asking him to play against Leipzig and one fan even claiming that he is ‘better than Sanchez’:
