Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Arkadiusz Milik’s transfer update

Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik is now on Jose Mourinho’s list of summer transfer targets, according to TuttoNapoli via @RickSpur.
Tottenham have been linked with Milik for several months and he could be about to leave the Stadio San Paolo if he refuses to agree to a contract extension.
Mourinho is reportedly desperate to sign a new striker in the upcoming transfer window to provide injury cover and competition for Spurs talisman Harry Kane. The Polish international has a fine record for Gennaro Gattuso’s side, scoring 46 goals in 109 appearances for the Azzurri so far.
However, the Italian outlet reported that Daniel Levy faces stiff competition from London rivals Chelsea as Frank Lampard is keen to bring in attacking reinforcements when the transfer market opens. It seems that Napoli are ready to sell the striker before the start of next season after Dries Mertens signed a new contract earlier this week.
As expected, the journalist’s tweet prompted lots of replies from the Spurs faithful, with one fan dubbing the Pole “proper quality” and another urging the board to “get Dzyuba for free” instead.
Have a read through a flavour of the reactions from Tottenham fans:
He’d be with Barca or Real now if he hadn’t gotten a bad injury a few years back. He’s proper quality. Don’t normally take much notice of rumours, but I’d like this one to be real.

With Kane’s recent comments that he’s not the type to stick around if no trophy’s are won I suspect this could be his last season so a replacement is needed this is a smart move by the club
