Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland, that is according to journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
The 19-year-old has been on fire for the Austrian outfit this season, scoring 28 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions, including eight in the UEFA Champions League (Transfermarkt).
Should Spurs sign Marouane Fellaini?
Whilst the north London club currently have one of the best strikers around in Harry Kane, it has been reported that Jose Mourinho would like to sign some back-up for the England captain recently (The Telegraph).
You would think that given his age and prolific record that Spurs fans would be excited by the prospect of signing Haaland.
However, quite the opposite is true, with several supporters suggesting that they wouldn’t want the striker at the club. “Another [Vincent] Janssen”, one fan uttered. Some have said that they don’t need him as they have young Troy Parrott, whilst others don’t seem to rate him at all.
Here is what some said on Twitter…
Another Jansen imo

Quality player will be great in the future but he won’t get time ahead of Kane. Would ruin his career on the bench.

Why would he play backup

So he can sit back up to Kane and we already have a top prospect in Parrott

Will he sign up for being Kane’s bench? Dont think so…
