Tottenham Hotspur have offered a contract to young Marseille forward Isaac Lihadji, that is according to a report from Fussball Transfers.
Do you seriously believe Jose Mourinho's 'humble' schtick?
It is thought that the 17-year-old will be available on a free transfer in the summer and that he is being courted by plenty of high profile clubs across Europe, with Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Juventus also interested in him.
He has managed to make just two first-team appearances for the Ligue 1 club this season and has only accumulated 23 minutes on the pitch (Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that the club have offered a contract to Lihadji, with most not that impressed about the youngster potentially joining the north Londoners.
Indeed a few have likened him to Clinton N’Jie and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, both of whom came from Ligue 1 as young players and failed to impress during their time at Tottenham.
Here is what some have been saying on Twitter…
🤦♂️ glad you hear we are after the best

Troy Parrott ? Any striker that comes to Spurs will just play second fiddle to Kane, Son is also just as good so no point.

This is possibly the most Tottenham Hotspur signing ever.
1. French league reject
2. Generic “forward”
3. Destined to leave the club after 3 seasons – total number of appearance = 17

Not another one please. If he’s a striker he won’t play as Kane, Son & Parrot are surely ahead of him & if he’s a winger we paid 10 million for Clarke who can’t play for Leeds.
