Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to news Jose Mourinho has prioritised Willian

Jose Mourinho is understood to have made Chelsea’s Willian a priority target of his this summer, which has led to a number of Tottenham Hotspur fans leaving their feelings on a potential move on Twitter.
According to a report by The Daily Express, who appear to cite an article by Football Insider, the Brazilian is thought to be one of the Portuguese manager’s desired targets to help improve Spurs next season.
Indeed, the current Chelsea winger – who once looked to be on the verge of heading to north London – has just a matter of months left on his present deal at Stamford Bridge and an obstacle regarding duration is thought to have presented itself.
Thus, Mourinho is said to be keen to try and take advantage of the situation and try and bring the South American winger to the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Of course, both men have a history together and one that makes for positive reading as Willian proved to be a hit under the manager during their time in SW6. According to data collected by TransferMarkt, the 31-year-old has managed to bag 15 goals and 14 assists in 114 appearances across all competitions in a three-year spell.
Perhaps, that is why some of the Tottenham faithful appear to be rather happy with the possibility of seeing the experienced winger at the club, although admittedly, there are some that are not quite convinced with the possible move.
One fan suggested he was better than their current Brazilian attacker, Lucas Moura, but one could not fathom what he would be able to bring to the team.
Here are just some of their reactions…

What is Willian going to bring to this team? We need good, young, hungry defenders. We should spend the 135m on 2 new CB’s, a RB and a back-up to Kane. That’s it. NO MORE MIDFIELDERS PLEASE.
