Tottenham Hotspur duo Oliver Skipp and Kyle Walker-Peters are set to be sent out on loan in the January transfer window, that is according to The Athletic.
The two youngsters haven’t really featured this season and therefore agreeing temporary deals with other clubs may be the best way for them to get more first-team experience.
Indeed Walker-Peters has made just three Premier League starts this season, the last of which came way back in August (Transfermarkt). As for Skipp, he has played just 10 minutes of league football this season (Transfermarkt).
If they are allowed to go out on loan then it would represent a change in the club’s policy when it comes to young players. Under Mauricio Pochettino they rarely allowed their emerging talent to leave temporarily with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Winks emerging amongst others, but it looks like Jose Mourinho will be more willing to allow it if he feels it will benefit the player.
It seems that the fans believe that it would be a good move to let both Walker-Peters and Skipp leave in January on loan, here is what some have had to say on Twitter…
Interesting hope they get plenty of games

Good decision, still undecided on Kwp as he has had chances to impress but hasn’t really, Skipp and Tanganga I definitely want to see return.
