Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has refused to entertain the possibility of becoming Arsenal manager, that is according to @DarrenArsenal1.
Would Pochettino ruin his Tottenham legacy by moving to Arsenal?
The Argentinian was in charge at Spurs for five years between 2014 to 2019, but was sacked by the club in November and replaced by Jose Mourinho.
Since his departure, Pochettino has been linked with several jobs across Europe, including the one at Arsenal after Unai Emery was sacked (The Telegraph).
However @DarrenArsenal1, who is thought to be a former shareholder (he has over 100 thousand Twitter followers and is followed by top journalists such as Julian Laurens and Amy Lawrence) at the Gunners and has strong inside knowledge, has suggested that the 47-year-old said no to the prospect of taking over at the Emirates.
It comes as little surprise that Pochettino is refusing to entertain the idea of managing Tottenham’s biggest rivals. After all he has in the past said he has told the Guardian that he would never manager Barcelona due to his ties to Espanyol.
Naturally, plenty of Spurs fans are delighted that their former manager has apparently ruled out going to Arsenal. Here is how some reacted on Twitter…

He’s always one of our own. Some are born to it, some have it thrust upon them, some choose it but the result is the same
