Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to reports that Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela miss training

Tottenham Hotspur duo Erik Lamela and Giovani Lo Celso both sat out training on Wednesday, according to a report from the Evening Standard.
Both players missed their recent FA Cup fourth round replay against Southampton with muscle injuries, which the report describes as minor, but their absence from training surely means that their participation in Spurs’ upcoming Premier League fixture against Aston Villa is in doubt.
Lo Celso has been a regular for Jose Mourinho of late and, prior to the fixture against the Saints, he had started five games in a row in all competitions, three of which were in the league (Transfermarkt). As for Lamela, he had featured in nine straight matches prior to the Southampton game after recovering from a hamstring injury (Transfermarkt). It would be a huge blow for Tottenham if they were without the duo for their trip to Villa Park as they are already without two key players in Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko.
Plenty of Spurs fans have been reacting to the injury update, with some absolutely gutted that the duo look unlikely to feature at the weekend. Meanwhile, others have taken aim at Lamela specifically and suggested that it is time to get rid of the 27-year-old who has a horrific injury record during his time at the club (Transfermarkt).
