Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Ricardo Pereira transfer link

Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in signing Leicester City right-back Ricardo Pereira, that is according to a report from Het Nieuwsblad via Sport Witness.
Could Tottenham tempt Ricardo Pereira from Leicester?
Yes

No

The Portuguese international has been a regular this season for the Foxes and has produced some impressive performances.
Indeed he has played every minute of their Premier League campaign so far, helping the team to seven clean sheets in 17 matches whilst also scoring two goals and providing an assist (Transfermarkt).
Meanwhile, right-back has been a problem area for Spurs, who never signed a replacement for Kieran Trippier in the summer after allowing him to leave for Atletico Madrid.
Serge Aurier has been the first choice, but whilst he does have attacking qualities there are lots of question marks about his defensive capabilities. Indeed on average he wins just 54.6% of his ground duels and 51% of his aerial duels per game and loses possession 15.5 times per match (SofaScore).
Kyle Walker-Peters is the alternative option, but he has barely featured this term and hasn’t played at all in the Premier League since August (Transfermarkt).
It is therefore easy to see why Jose Mourinho may be looking to bring in a right-back in the near future and it seems that Pereira would be an extremely popular signing amongst the clubs supporters if they did manage to pull it off.
