Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Victor Wanyama coming on against Bayern

It was another tough night for Tottenham Hotspur against Bayern Munich on Wednesday as they suffered a second defeat of the season versus the Bundesliga giants.
Hans-Dieter Flick’s side ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho, with Ryan Sessegnon getting the consolation for Spurs (BBC Sport).
Should Ryan Sessegnon be a starter at Tottenham?
Yes

No

With the game running away from the north London side at the Allianz Arena, Jose Mourinho decided to give forgotten man Victor Wanyama some minutes on the pitch, bringing him on for Eric Dier in the 80th minute (WhoScored).
It was an odd decision by the Portuguese to bring on a defensive midfielder given that they were behind and many fans were not happy at all with the decision.
Indeed, some suggested that Wanyama was no longer good enough to be getting appearances for Spurs, whilst others would have preferred to see young striker Troy Parrott introduced instead.
Here is how some reacted to the change on Twitter…
Let’s make this his testimonial.

Seriously?! Over Parrott? Why didn’t Parrott play in youth game if he wasn’t going to get mins? Bit ridiculous
