Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reflected on 'awful' Federico Fazio after the north London club's official Twitter page posted a throwback line-up including their former player.

Fazio started against Chelsea in a 5-3 Premier League win at White Hart Lane back on New Year's Day in 2015, with Harry Kane netting a brace and Danny Rose, Andros Townsend and Nacer Chadli scoring the goals, as per the BBC. The result meant that Spurs leapfrogged their arch-rivals Arsenal into fifth place in the table.

Fazio has made Transfermarkt. He played the majority of these games in the Premier League in the 2014/15 season, where he featured 20 times.

Comparing his stats in that league campaign to the other central defenders at the club, the criticism of the Argentine may perhaps be a little unfair. Fazio averaged more interceptions, clearances and blocks than Jan Vertonghen, Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul, according to Whoscored.

Nevertheless, these Tottenham supporters reflected negatively on their former man, with one fan branding the 33-year old as 'awful':
