Tottenham Hotspur: Fans slam Spurs plans to sign Barcelona star on loan

According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are keen to organise a loan move for Philippe Coutinho but the club are not looking to sign him permanently this summer.
Coutinho has attracted attention from plenty of admirers as Tottenham are among a number of Premier League sides paying close attention to his availability in the transfer market.
A source told Wayne Veysey that Spurs have informed Barca they are only open to a loan or a loan-to-buy deal.
The Brazilian has struggled for consistency during his spell at Bayern Munich, and the Bundesliga giants have made it clear they will not trigger the option to keep him at the Allianz Arena next season.
Indeed, it could be argued he has failed to recreate the form he enjoyed with Liverpool, although he has still managed to score 21 goals and create 11 assists in 76 appearances for the Blaugrana.
Should Tottenham sign Philippe Coutinho?
Yes
No
Furthermore, he is a significant upgrade on the midfield options available to Jose Mourinho at present, as he has a higher statistical rating than the likes of Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso via WhoScored.
Spurs are unwilling to pay his whopping salary, which is reportedly worth more than £200,000-per-week, but Daniel Levy is willing to cover a loan fee.
However, the North London club could have a transfer battle on their hands, as rivals Chelsea and Arsenal are eyeing up bids.
Unsurprisingly, many Spurs fans slammed the board’s plans, with one supporter bemoaning the “same old Levy,” adding “never change” in despair.

Please no. I don’t like him. Why Spurs don’t watch Tagliafico from Ajax?
