Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to a report which suggested that the club are interested in signing defender Eder Militao from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window (El Desmarque via Ricky Sacks).

The 22-year old is currently valued at 40 million euros according to Transfermarkt, but that price could alter if Spurs become more desperate to sign a centre-back. Militao joined Real Madrid from FC Porto only last summer but has fallen behind Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos in the pecking order and so has only registered 13 appearances for the Spanish giants all season.

With the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen getting older and Japhet Tanganga still at a point in his career where he needs to fully learn the game, Militao could prove to be a good bit of business for Spurs in the summer if they can negotiate a reasonable price. Some Spurs fans think that the Brazilian would be a good signing for them, however others are sceptical that the club will be able to bring him in...
