Tottenham Hotspur: Fans take to Twitter to have their say on Kazaiah Sterling’s Doncaster loan

Tottenham travel to face Manchester City at the Etihad tomorrow, but today the fans have been given a small piece of transfer news, as it has been confirmed by the Lilywhites that young Kazaiah Sterling will be leaving them on loan this season to play for Doncaster Rovers.

The League One outfit made it to the play-offs last season before being beaten in the semi-finals by Charlton Athletic and this season the aim will be to go one better. It’s not Sterling’s first taste of League One football either, seeing as he was loaned to Sunderland for the second half of last season.
The 20-year-old, before this move to Doncaster, played in a Premier League 2 game for Tottenham in which he bagged a brace in a 4-0 win away at Liverpool, and it will now be up to the young striker to maintain that sort of proficiency in League One, especially after last season at Sunderland where he could only manage a single goal in eight appearances, Transfermarkt.

He’s a decent striker from what I’ve seen

The fans all seem delighted for Sterling to be getting a whole season to show what he can do in League One, and it’s now up to the player to show that he’s a better player than what his Sunderland spell suggests.
