Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in Queens Park Rangers star Eberechi Eze, but aren’t prepared to meet his valuation according to a report from The Athletic, via Ricky Sacks.
Should Tottenham sign Eberechi Eze?
The 21-year-old has been one of the standout players in the Championship this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances for the R’s (Transfermarkt).
His performances have attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Sheffield United who are thought to be keen admirers of the attacking midfielder (The Sun).
Spurs are also believed to be one of the clubs interested in Eze, but this new report suggests that QPR’s £20 million asking price is putting the north London outfit off.
However, it seems that plenty of Tottenham fans would pay that amount for the England under-21 international, with several taking to Twitter to urge Daniel Levy to put his hand in his pocket.
Here is what some had to say…
He’s worth 20mil imo we should pay it

£20m for a young English talent is nothing these days, get it done Levy!

Pray we get him, gonna be a superstar

If we’re that interested just pay it, if he develops he’ll be worth it. We need to get some new blood in. We’re not going to get a big name to join us and sit on the bench.

Doesn’t Levy ever learn 🤦🏻♂️ Maddison, Grealish. Some of these players are top quality so you need to pay for them.
