Tottenham Hotspur: Fans urge club to sign Patrik Schick - Tottenham

Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have urged the north London club to sign Patrik Schick after the striker reportedly revealed that he wants to play in the Premier League, according to iSport.cz (via TranSPURS).

Schick is currently valued at 25 million euros, the equivalent of around £23.3 million according to Transfermarkt. For further context, he has also been capped 22 times at international level by the Czech Republic, scoring nine goals via the website.

The 24-year old has played 19 times for RB Leipzig in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing a further three assists (via Transfermarkt). Schick has unfortunately missed out on 10 more potential appearances following ankle problems whilst also facing competition from Timo Werner for a starting spot up front, so in theory, his stats could be even better.

Indeed, during the German club’s meeting with Spurs in the Champions League, Jose Mourinho even suggested that players on Leipzig’s bench would get into his side.

Schick could potentially serve as a backup to Harry Kane, given he’s made the majority (64/83) of his career appearances as a central striker, and actually won more aerial duels than the England captain (1.8 to 2.1 via WhoScored) in the 2018/19 campaign, suggesting he can offer a presence when potentially leading the line.

These Spurs fans have expressed their interest in Schick and many supporters have called on the club to sign him up:
