Tottenham Hotspur: Fans want Hugo Lloris to be replaced

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur fans want Hugo Lloris to be replaced after a Twitter post from @COYS_com asked supporters of the north London club what they would do with their club captain in the summer.

The French international has 114 caps for his national team and helped them win the World Cup by beating Croatia 4-2 in the final two years ago (Transfermarkt), with fellow Premier League man Paul Pogba scoring one of the goals and getting man-of-the-match with an 8 overall rating, according to Sky Sports. N’Golo Kante, Olivier Giroud and Dejan Lovren also started the match.

However, Lloris has been relatively disappointing in the top flight this season, keeping only two clean sheets and conceding 14 goals in 12 games, according to Transfermarkt. He was sidelined for 15 league games by an elbow injury in the middle of the campaign, and in those matches Spurs kept two clean sheets and conceded 19 goals, as per the website.

The stats are relatively similar whether the 33-year old was in goal or not, suggesting that his absence has not made too much of a difference. In light of this, these Tottenham supporters want to see the goalkeeper replaced:
