A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans would be more than happy if the alleged rumours regarding the suggestions that Real Madrid have offered them the chance to sign Luka Jovic were true.
Indeed, it has been a difficult time for the £36m-rated striker (as per TransferMarkt) during his debut campaign with Los Blancos as he has managed just two goals and two assists in the 24 appearances he has made so far.
Of course, those figures pale in comparison to what the 22-year-old forward managed to achieve last season with Eintracht Frankfurt as he bagged himself 27 and provided his team-mates with a further seven in the 48 matches he featured in for the Germans (per TransferMarkt).
Amid the rumours that Spurs have been offered the chance to sign Jovic in the summer, it appears many of the club’s faithful have not been put off by his poor return in Madrid and would happily have him in north London.
Whilst it is clear on Twitter that some don’t necessarily envision a move happen, they still could not help but share their desire to have him strutting his stuff for them in the future.
Here are just what some of them had to say regarding the rumour…
Very good player I would take him in a heartbeat but it would mean having two strikers in our first team squad and that’s forbidden unfortunately!

I would be all over that 👍

Snap him up. Take advantage of this “special relationship”

Would love him but i find it hard to believe he will be willing to come. He will be playing the same role at spurs as he is for real madrid
