Tottenham Hotspur: Lots of fans were buzzing to see club end six-month winless run on the road

It has been six long months since Tottenham were last on the winning side of a game they were playing on the road, but last night proved to be the end of the rot for the north London side and their misfortunes away from home.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side claimed an impressive 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, becoming the first English team ever to beat the Serbian giants at their home ground in any form of Europe’s top club competition. Most importantly, though, it finally brought an end to Tottenham’s horrific away form in recent months (per BBC Sport).

The result was Tottenham’s first away win of the season, and supporters on social media were buzzing to see their club finally secure three points on the road after a dismal run of form that has seen Spurs lose three and draw five of their previous games on the road before last night.
