Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has not been selected by Gareth Southgate for the latest England squad that will face the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Will Dele Alli rediscover his best form this season?
So despite Danny Rose, Harry Kane and Harry Winks making the squad, many Spurs fans were putting their attention on Alli:

The 23-year-old is yet to start a single Premier League game this season, making one substitute appearance that lasted 31 minutes, as per WhoScored.
He has started both of Spurs’ Champions League games, though he has only managed an average rating of 6.55 on WhoScored, having failed to get a goal or assist.
In the Champions League, Alli has managed 1 key pass and 1 dribble per game, completing just 75% of the passes he has attempted.
The general consensus seems to be that Alli simply must improve, so many Spurs fans are hoping the England snub acts as a wake-up call for the 23-year-old.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the announcement, including posts from concerned Spurs fans, can be seen below:
Wake up call for Dele hopefully.

I can understand alli been dropped not played well for ages , can’t remember the last game he did, I think it was Chelsea at Wembley
But winks, rose and kane should be too
They all played in that game and were all diabolical so to be honest no Spurs player should be in the squad.
