Marcus Edwards may not have made it at Tottenham Hotspur, but he gave many of the club’s fans satisfaction when he scored for Vitoria Guimaraes against Arsenal in the Europa League.
Do you trust Daniel Levy to fund an overhaul at Tottenham?
The Portuguese outfit eventually lost the game, but the 20-year-old showed great composure and skill as he cut across Kieran Tierney and slotted the ball into the bottom corner, past Emiliano Martinez:

Edwards only ever made one appearance for Spurs, when he came on for the final 15 minutes of a 5-0 Carabao Cup win against Gillingham, as per Transfermarkt.
Since then, he has had loan spells at Norwich City and Excelsior, before eventually making the permanent move to Portugal in the summer of 2019.
Despite him no longer being on the club’s books, many Spurs fans have taken great joy in seeing the youngster score against their rivals.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the goal, including posts from delighted Spurs fans, can be seen below:
That is absolutely wonderful for Marcus. Can’t imagine how that must have felt for him.
