To mark Ledley King’s birthday, Tottenham Hotspur posted out a video in which the former centre-back featured heavily.
Fans were seen on their stadium tour, while King was behind closed doors giving instructions to employees on questions to ask supporters and pranks they could play, before going out to greet them at the end.
As part of the video, it was joked that the club are thinking of naming a stand after the former England international:
“We’re thinking of calling it the @LedleyKing stand!”

While there wasn’t too much behind the suggestion, many Spurs fans are now demanding that this happens for real.
The former captain, who is now 39-year-old, was a one-club man who played a total of 315 times for Spurs, as per Transfermarkt, becoming a fan favourite in the process.
If they have their way, this could be immortalised by having his name on the club’s new stadium.
