With Christian Eriksen’s contract at Spurs coming to an end in the summer of 2020, as per Transfermarkt, while he could be offloaded in January, the Portuguese attacking midfielder is seen as a replacement for the Dane:

Many Spurs fans are very keen for this to happen, though they don’t have full confidence in Daniel Levy’s ability to get the deal over the line.

Some of them have claimed that the 25-year-old is exactly what they need, pleading with the Spurs chairman to stop pinching pennies and go out to get the deal completed.

The midfielder has got a very impressive 7 goals and 5 assists in 10 games across all competitions this season, as per Transfermarkt.
