The 26-year-old right-wingback levelled the game 12 minutes from time for Sheffield United after Spurs allowed the defender’s miss-hit cross to fly all the way past everyone and past Paulo Gazzaniga to ensure that the points were shared at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (per BBC Sport).
And Spurs fans on social media were rightly frustrated with the goal, with supporters highlighting how easy the north London side allowed Chris Wilder’s side to come back into the game and snatch a point from last season’s Champions League finalists.
Here’s what Tottenham fans had to say about Baldock’s equalising goal for Sheffield United, with plenty of supporters fuming with Spurs’ performance and criticising the north London club’s poor showing at home…
It’s so bad. This is a home game and we look like the nervous away side.

And not a single Spurs fan on the planet is surprised.

No surprise it looks like we have no defence whatsoever and Aurier’s passing is diabolical

We just let them dribble into our half, stroll through the middle and put the ball out wide to be crossed in. Just disinterested without the ball and uninspired and stagnant when we do have it.

So Spurs is just a club with a bit higher level than Red Star Belgrade. We should move to their league. PL is just to hard for this club

They protected the zone, and let them possess and pass the ball freely. No team plays as dumb as Spurs.
