While the England fans in the Transfer Tavern had very little to shout about over the international break (despite qualifying for the World Cup), one man did earn rave reviews.
Indeed, Harry Kane was the only Three Lions player to score during 180 minutes of international football against Slovenia and Lithuania as the 24-year-old continues to establish himself as one of the most prolific marksmen on the continent.
So, while his business on the pitch has been debated even more so of late, reports from the Sun talking about his plans off of it have proven rather interesting.
They claim the Spurs star has trademarked a ‘HK Harry Kane’ logo with the Government as he plots training gear, footwear and headgear to come out sporting it.
That could reportedly land him £10m a year over the next five years as he follows the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham in trademarking his name following success on the pitch.
As you can imagine, our north London locals are wishing him all the luck in the world, as long as he keeps scoring!
Why not? Kane seems like a very down to earth individual, so any interests off the pitch are unlikely to turn his head. One of the hottest properties in world football right now, it makes sense to cash in.
