Tottenham man could walk away from club this summer – Report

Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been celebrating the success of their developmental side after they beat arch-rivals Arsenal 9-0 in the Under-18 Premier League.

Locals saw teenage star Reo Griffiths put in another impressive display by scoring four of the goals and providing three assists, taking his tally to 33 for the season across all domestic competitions.

That performance will have attracted even more unwanted interest in the 17-year-old, with the Mirror claiming he has become a transfer target for RB Leipzig. Spurs are believed to be keen on holding him as they feel he could have a bright future at the club, however, the striker may have other ideas.

Griffiths is yet to sign a new deal to remain at White Hart Lane and could be prepared to walk away from the club this summer, alerting a number of the sides rumoured to be monitoring him, with the Bundesliga outfit set to be one of the favourites with former Tottenham head of recruitment Paul Mitchell in a similar role.

Landlord’s Verdict

Tottenham fans will be hoping the club can convince Griffiths to commit his future and sign a new deal as the locals continue to be impressed with the displays he is performing at now. Punters will be desperate to keep him for the future and will hope the attraction of a European club does not stop him from signing a new contract.
