The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern, who’ve still been talking about their stunning comeback at the Etihad over the course of the weekend, are entirely hopeful Mauricio Pochettino can deliver a Premier League title to the Lane.
Our north London locals have thoroughly enjoyed watching this side grow under his stewardship, with Danny Rose emerging as one of the biggest cult heroes within the punters in the bar. The England international has established himself as perhaps one the elite defenders in the Premier League of late, much to the delight of those on Hotspur Way.
So, reports from the London Evening Standard have gone down a storm amongst the Lilywhites in the bar. They’ve revealed the 26-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Chinese Super League, both Manchester clubs AND Paris Saint-Germain as a result of his stunning performances in recent months.
Having only signed a new deal back in September, the former Leeds United ace is reported to have been eyed by former boss Spurs Andre Villas-Boas at Shanghai SIPG, though any move is said to be unlikely right now.
As you can well imagine, that’s gone down a storm.
