Tottenham fans must be becoming more nervous by the day as their club are still yet to make a signing this summer, something which could end their Champions League dreams this time next year.

Amid moving into their new home, Tottenham are yet to add quality players to join the stadium which could prove to be a massive mistake. If Spurs quickly want to amend that situation and add quality into their squad, Jasper Cillessen of Barcelona would be a great option as number two to Hugo Lloris to challenge the Frenchman and to be in-between the sticks for cup games.

The 29-year-old has struggled for much game-time at Barcelona seeing as Marc Andre Ter-Stegen has been completely dominant and worthy of the number one jersey. However, for a shot-stopper of the Dutchman's quality, he needs to move to a side like Tottenham where he has more chances to feature in games.

Lloris has been a wanted man in past years and that same occurrence could happen again this summer, so having Jasper Cillessen as a capable back-up is a smart idea.

The £18 million-rated 'keeper has been linked with a move away from Barcelona after failing to overtake Ter-Stegen meaning a move from Tottenham now would be a good option for Cillessen to consider. At this stage, fans are happy with any sort of transfer rumour but this move in particular would add quality and squad depth as they move into another Premier League season.
