Tottenham must complete signing of rising French star Nkunku

Tottenham have begun the season in a positive way, even enough to suggest that Mauricio Pochettino and his men could have the firepower to contend for the Premier League title.

Despite not signing a single player in the summer, Tottenham also didn’t sell anyone meaning all their top performers stayed put to continue to build Tottenham’s enhancing reputation.

They’re a team on the up and although they maybe dubbed as the team who puts pressure on the big teams rather than winning anything themselves, manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to have the ability to swing their fortunes around.

With the addition of PSG’s young star Christopher Nkunku in January for example, Tottenham will not only continue to have a fine starting 11 but the squad depth and young stars in the team will be improved.

Nkunku, (who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt) has shown in games already this season that he is a young player with not only immense potential but also current ability.

The 20-year-old is extremely versatile and although predominantly a central-midfielder, his pace allows him to be utilised on the wing, cutting in and providing crosses for his team-mates.

The Frenchman has been with PSG for his entire footballing career but at the age of 20, a new challenge could await him with a move to Tottenham.

He made a total of 27 appearances last season and although few were starts, he still managed to score 5 goals from a midfield position. To add competition into the centre of the park alongside the likes of Wanyama, Sissoko and Dier, Nkunku would offer something completely different and it’s an exciting opportunity that Tottenham should grab.
