It was an unhappy journey back from Wembley for the Tottenham Hotspur fans as they flooded into the Transfer Tavern to drown their Champions League sorrows.
Despite their best efforts, it appears even decorating the dressing rooms in order to look like White Hart Lane couldn’t provide much comfort for Spurs.
Still, they aren’t the only London side to experience some teething problems in a new home.
Rivals West Ham United have also found the move to a big new stadium a fairly problematic one during the early part of their life at the London Stadium.
Problems on and off the field have dogged the Hammers and perhaps a pattern is emerging.
While Spurs’ move is only temporary for Champions League fixtures, having to play in relatively unfamiliar surroundings could scupper their chances.
So, with that in mind, who looks more out of place at their new home? Spurs at Wembley? Or West Ham at the London Stadium?
