German football expert Raphael Honigstein has hinted that Timo Werner could look to exploit Tottenham's Serge Aurier tonight when RB Leipzig travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their Champions League clash.

James Richardson of The Totally Football Show podcast mentioned how Aston Villa and Jack Grealish recently targeted Aurier, prompting Honigstein to explain how Werner could look to do the same thing in north London.

Speaking on Tuesday's edition of The Totally Football Show podcast, Honigstein said: "That's where Timo Werner operates [on the left]. He's a striker that likes to come from the left, so attacking the Spurs right-back will be very much on his mind."

If that right-back does happen to be Aurier, then Jose Mourinho's men could be in trouble if he puts in a similar display to the one supporters saw at Villa Park. He was given a 6.4 match rating by WhoScored for his performance, the lowest in Spurs' starting XI, after recording a pass success rate of just 64% and being dispossessed on an occasion.

Coming up against a tricky customer in Werner, who has already scored 20 league goals this season, a 1v1 could prove problematic for the Premier League outfit.
