Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been slightly worried about the lack of signings so far this summer but it appears as though things are about to change.
For sure, after finishing second in the league and qualifying for the Champions League the men from White Hart Lane (Wembley next season) were expected to build on that with new players coming in.
Instead, though, it’s been a sluggish start to things this summer but that looks as though it is about to change.
Indeed, according to The Times, Spurs are looking to bring in Ricardo Pereira now Kyle Walker has joined Man City.
Indeed, the transfer for the flying Englishman topped £50 million and that should give Spurs the extra money needed to try and bolster their side for the new campaign.
Certainly, Pereira seems a part of those potential plans and so the transfer window might be about to really get going for our local Lilywhites.
