Though Dele Alli is one of many poster boys at Tottenham Hotspur these days, the fans in the Transfer Tavern have been shocked at recent reports.
Both the England international and Chrisitan Eriksen currently occupy the playmaking roles at White Hart Lane, but reports from the London Evening Standard have got the Tavern’s Tottenham tongues wagging.
They claim the north London outfit are continuing to monitor Isco’s situation at Real Madrid as he struggles for game time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 24-year-old Spanish international is believed to have been the subject of an enquiry from White Hart Lane during the closing stages of the transfer window, though a move never materialised.
Still, the club are understood to be keeping tabs on him and could make a loan move with an obligation to buy should his situation not improve by January.
A big money signing for Los Blancos in 2013, the former Malaga man is one of the biggest names in Europe and his arrival would certainly by a major coup for Tottenham.
Will Isco make a Spurs move? Let us know below…
