The Croation international, who has impressed in Serie A due to his classy passing range, is believed to have had a bust-up with San Siro chief Frank De Boer.
Since, he has not appeared for the Nerazzurri, who are reportedly keen on selling him to the highest bidder in January.
Initially impressing enough for the Italian giants to convert his loan deal from Dinamo Zagreb into a permanent one, the midfielder now looks likely to leave the club.
