Spurs fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been getting the beers in for everyone this evening in light of the windfall that their club is set for from a deal for this England international.
Reports in The Sun suggest that Hull City are set to pay £10m to bring Spurs’ and England midfielder, Ryan Mason, to the KC Stadium.
After an injury hit campaign last season, followed by the recent addition of Southampton midfielder, Victor Wanyama, to the Spurs squad, the 25-year-old may find game time hard to come by at White Hart Lane, should he stay on.
The Landlord here at the Football Transfer Tavern has pointed out that this isn’t the first time that Steve Bruce has turned to Spurs to add to his squad. According to The Sun, the Hull boss will look to former Spurs’ players, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore to help convince Mason that a move North would be beneficial.
Spurs’ fans, what do you think? Is it time to cash in on Mason whilst the price is so high, or does he still have something to offer Pochettino? Let us know in the comments below…
