Tottenham have enjoyed a great start to the season despite many predicting a much harder season for Spurs due to them not signing a single player in the transfer window.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has proven exactly why he is one of the best in the league as Tottenham go into the international break in a strong position to kick-on after.
With a great squad of players at his disposal, it’s right to think that again Tottenham will be looking to at least bag a spot in the top four of the Premier League.
However with some smart business in January, the ambition to have yet another strong season will be made easier, especially if they recruit for the future and sign Michael Cuisance.
The 19-year-old has had a short but impressive rise to the top of the German game with Borussia Monchengladbach, hence why it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see a team of Tottenham’s stature make a move for the young Frenchman.
Cuisance, who is valued at £6.7 million on Transfermarkt, made 24 Bundesliga appearances last season, predominantly in a defensive midfield role. He managed to provide two assists during that period but more impressively, he kept many opponents at bay, sweeping away any danger that came near Gladbach’s back-line, due to his energy and pace off the mark to scamper across the pitch.
Tottenham, apart from Eric Dier, don’t really have an out-and-out defensive midfielder so recruiting a young star who is sure to be a success in the near future would be a brilliant addition during the January transfer window.
Do you agree that Cusiance is a player to sign for Tottenham… Let us know!
