Tottenham should make Chelsea rue another transfer mistake by nabbing £36m-rated midfielder

The Tottenham fans within the Transfer Tavern are again feeling embarrassed as rival fans continue to make reference to them not gaining any silverware again this season.

In what has been a familiar occurrence, Spurs have put the pressure on but failed to deliver when it mattered most during the latter stages of the season. As they’re soon to move in to their new ground, hope will be renowned because a new ground should hopefully mean extra money for transfer targets.

Although this player hasn’t been good this season, our punters have recognised that Chelsea have continuously made a number of mistakes during the transfer windows, letting go Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, so they believe that Tiemoue Bakayoko could be another example of this.

The Frenchman has been ridiculed all season long after some shocking performances but the form he showed at the start of the season suggests that he is capable of being a very good midfielder, but maybe needs a move away from Stamford Bridge to realise that.

Considering how good he was for Monaco last year, Bakayoko was brought to Chelsea much to the delight of the Blues. The player valued at £36.00 million on Transfermarkt looked to be a bargain when he was bossing the midfield in his first few appearances but since then his career at Stamford Bridge has gone drastically downhill.

Chelsea are well aware of their transfer mistakes and perhaps are cautious of selling a player to their London rivals but with Bakayoko sure to be an upgrade on Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko, surely he might be worth another go in the Premier League?
