Tottenham: Spurs fans react to Bruno Fernandes rumours

Tottenham have endured a woeful start to the season, with the club sitting in the bottom half of the table.
Could Tottenham persuade Bruno Fernandes to join?
Yes

No

Pressure has grown on Mauricio Pochettino after humbling defeats at the hands of Brighton, Bayern Munich and Colchester United.
Rumblings of discontent among the playing squad cease to disappear, with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen not having contracts beyond the end of the current campaign.
Perhaps a direct replacement for Eriksen could be Bruno Fernandes, who has been dominating the Liga NOS for some time now.
The Sporting CP midfielder, valued at £54m by Transfermarkt, has five goals and five assists in nine league games this season, having scored 20 and assisted 13 last year.
Fernandes’ electric form saw him heavily linked with a number of top European clubs this summer, including Tottenham and Manchester United.
Recently, according to A Bola, the North London side are keeping tabs on the player amid his contract talks with Sporting Lisbon.
Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to the continued speculation over a transfer for Fernandes:
I don’t think he wants to play in the championship next season

Look at it the other way around mate, he joins in january when our form is utter rubbish, he pushes Eriksen out the starting 11 and gets us into top 4. Telling you right now he will be a club legend.

Never gonna happen but omg imagine if it did
— Alex (@RundownA) November 4, 2019
Probably depends on who our manager is in Jan.

Why would he come? Does he want to fight for 10 spot with West Ham?

Is he a Right Back?

Shouldn’t we be prioritising a new back four (possibly 5 if we include a real keeper!) over more midfielders?
