It might be another week, however, that does not stop the transfer rumours from slowing down. But, for Tottenham Hotspur's sake, they might just want this latest one to have concrete foundations.

According to a report by Football Insider, Andre Villas-Boas is interested in signing Georges-Kevin N'Koudou when he becomes the Olympique de Marseille manager.

The former Chelsea and Spurs boss is expected to take control of the Ligue 1 outfit this summer and it is thought the 24-year-old is on his list of targets.

And, Tottenham must surely hope that the interest is true and Villas-Boas does look to take him off their hands permanently.

To say N'Koudou has been nothing but a disappointment, as harsh as it may sound, would not be too far from the truth.

The winger was tipped to be able to achieve good things in north London, however, he has simply struggled to make an impact and has continually been overlooked by Mauricio Pochettino.

The 24-year-old has made just 26 appearances for the Lilywhites in his three years with the club and has just one goal to his name; hardly anything to shout about.

A loan spell with Burnley last season before spending the second half of the current campaign with AS Monaco have not gone as planned, with N'Koudou having spent the majority of it on the sidelines.

It would be difficult to see Tottenham recoup the £9million (BBC) they spent on him in 2016, however, the club must consider any offer they may receive for his services this summer.
