The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are still optimistic that their team can target some success this season, despite falling some way behind the two Manchester clubs in the Premier League this season.
Spurs have played well this season, much to the help of usual suspects like Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Harry Kane, who consequently all find themselves in the PFA team of the year because of it. This Tottenham side has the making of something special our punters feel and with the help of some summer signings, Spurs could flex their muscles in England even more.
Danny Rose has endured a battling season and faced much criticism. His future is looking bleak at Tottenham and that’s why our punters believe they should replace him with PSG’s left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who is valued at £19.80 million on Transfermarkt.
The 25-year-old has made 26 appearances so far this season and as well as his help in defence, Kurzawa has been helpful in the attacking sense of the game as well, scoring 5 goals and assisting 4 for his team-mates. Tottenham will be hoping that, if Layvin Kurzawa came to England, his move would be more successful than the other PSG fullback who joined Spurs – Serge Aurier. The right-back has realised how hard it is to get to grips with the English league immediately and consequently suffered for form.
Tottenham will be looking to further their team this summer as well as not losing any key players either. If this can become a reality, then Spurs have a good chance at achieving or surpassing their form of this season. The signing of an experienced left-back like Kurzawa is most definitely the type of business Tottenham need to do to replace the likely departing Danny Rose.
