Tottenham would certainly solve their Harry Kane problem with £16.2m-rated attacker signing

The Tottenham fans in and around the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their new stadium to be completed, then they hope to fill that pitch with quality players who can make a difference next season.

Tottenham have a starting line-up full of quality especially at the front end of the pitch but when it comes to competition for places, there isn’t much. Harry Kane is Tottenham’s talisman but never has he been put under pressure by another forward at the club who desires to take his place. Our punters think healthy competition for players could even spur Kane on further and a player who could be a back-up to the England star is Alassane Plea, who is valued at £16.2 million on Transfermarkt.

The Frenchman was again a goalscoring success for Nice as last season, Plea scored 21 goals in his 49 total appearances. The 25-year-old has bags of pace and over his time in France, has shown he is very capable of finding the back of the net.

Fernando Llorente has never shown potential to overtake Harry Kane as Tottenham’s number one but if Spurs brought the Frenchman in, immediately he would be a threat due to the fact that Alassane Plea has continuously been scoring goals in the last few seasons.

Tottenham could even experiment with the two playing together, causing the opposition to deal with strength and physically, plus added pace and power from Plea. Their goalscoring records are both brilliant and seeing as Spurs have to improve their squad depth, immediately this signing would add much needed competition to Tottenham’s attackers.
