Tottenham would hit next level if they could pull off ambitious swoop for £31.5m-rated African star

The Tottenham fans within the Transfer Tavern have been happy with their team this season, having seen the struggles of adapting to Wembley to now becoming closer to securing a top-four spot once again.

It’s been a long and challenging season for Tottenham but in the end, their quality paid off and they look to be on the verge of securing Champions League football once again. There is no doubt that Spurs and teams around them have to improve if they want to catch up to runaway champions-elect Manchester City, so Tottenham must be focused on bringing in players who can improve their team this summer.

A player that us punters think would do just that is Jean Michael Seri, a passing maestro who is valued at £31.50 million on Transfermarkt. The 26-year-old has been a sort-after player this year, with interest coming from around the world with the very best teams of late. It’s no surprise that Seri has accumulated such interest though, as the Ivory Coast midfielder has again been immense at the heart of Nice’s midfield.

Seri has managed to bag seven assists in his 36 appearances so far and teams are desperate to get their hands on a top midfielder like Jean Michael Seri. Having risen to stardom in the last few years, Seri would add so much more quality to Tottenham’s team and Daniel Levy should be prepared to pay whatever it takes to lure him to Spurs.

A wonderful driving force in the heart of midfield, he’d give any side in the world a sense of thrust from the engine room, pushing forward with aplomb and helping spring counter-attacks when recovering the ball quickly. Our punters would love to see Jean Michael Seri in the Premier League given all the hype surrounding him. The midfielder clearly has undeniable quality and that would make the league even more competitive should Tottenham secure his signature.
