Tottenham would reportedly confident of double deal including £25m attacker

Watching their side return to winning ways, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are confident their side can finish in the Top 4 this season, though are somewhat disappointed their title hopes have all but faded.

It seems Spurs are lacking just that one superstar to truly cap off their squad, so the north London locals propping up the bar aren’t wholly sure just what to make of reports in the Express over the weekend.

They claimed Mauricio Pochettino is confident of wrapping up a £25m deal for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha in the summer, having been linked with him since the last one. Having impressed so much in south London this term, the Argentine is understood to be keen on bringing the ex-Manchester United man across the capital.

Furthermore, the report also claims those on Hotspur Way are confident in the notion of signing Jay Rodriguez too, should they wish to formalise their interest in the Southampton striker. Good players these may be, but the Spurs fans in the Tavern aren’t truly convinced either are the men to lead them to a first Premier League title.

Who would be a better signing for Spurs, Rodriguez or Zaha? Let us know below…
