Much of the talk amongst the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern has largely centred around the future of their full-backs as the summer window gears up.
According to their report, Spurs youngster Josh Onomah is a loan target for a number of clubs this summer. The 20-year-old helped the England U20s to a famous World Cup victory and has impressed during the few appearances Mauricio Pochettino has given him in Spurs’ first-team squad.
Indeed, the likes of Celtic, Huddersfield Town and Brighton and Hove Albion are all thought to be interested in taking him on loan next term, a move our resident Spurs fans are backing.
Considering the strength of the starting XI, as well as the fact Tottenham will surely strengthen in the market this summer, means the midfielder will struggle for game time.
Seagulls boss Chris Hughton is reportedly eager to use his connections on Hotspur Way to push a deal over the line, though the Hoops could offer him the chance of Champions League football.
With many of the Spurs fans in the bar expecting big things from Onomah, they hope he makes the right loan choice.
