‘What a time to be alive’ – Tottenham fans delighted following club’s Twitter post

Spurs fans here in the Tavern are hoping not to suffer anymore injury setbacks before the end of the season, as anything less than a Champions League place is seen as a disaster.

Mauricio Pochettino has been extremely unlucky as far as injuries are concerned this season, as key players spending time out on the sidelines has impacted the progress made by the Spurs side. Especially having spent the last few months without captain Toby Alderweireld, a key figure in the Tottenhham camp who’s absence saw a shallow defence fail to keep up any consistency.

However, as Spurs head into a grudge match with bitter rivals Arsenal after missing out on the spoils last time out, our local residents are hoping that the Lilywhites don’t suffer any setbacks prior to the weekend. Indeed, with Pochettino’s side hoping to inflict revenge in the North London Derby, they received a huge boost in doing so, as Tottenham’s Twitter account were delighted to provide fans with news of no notable injuries of current for Spurs.

Following the club’s post, fans were absolutely delighted with the news as it seemed fortunes had finally favoured their side, with a moments prayer held in the hopes of no further injuries.
