This weekend saw two of Real Madrid's 'Galacticos' exit Euro 2020. Tournament top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal were edged out 1-0 by Belgium as the holders failed to defend their crown, while Gareth Bale's Wales were soundly beaten by Denmark 4-0.

Ronaldo has long left Madrid, with rumours doing the rounds that he could even be on his way to La Liga rivals Barcelona, but Bale is set to return to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium this summer after a mixed loan spell with his former Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur last season.

However, does Bale still have what it takes to shine at the very highest level?

Instagram star Munya Chawawa chatted with former Wales international Ashley Williams for the latest instalment of Just Eat’s Home Advantage video series and the Welshman still thinks he has plenty to offer.

Just Eat’s Home Advantage looks to bring the best of food and football together, as Munya orders a takeaway with some of the UK’s favourites footballers each week throughout the tournament.

Williams was impressed with Bale's leadership qualities throughout Euro 2020, stating: “We saw a lot of leadership, he’s been a real team player and did a lot of defensive work.”

However, he did concede that he's not the same player from a couple of year ago, saying: “When you reach the latter stages of the tournament, you need to see more of the ‘old’ Gareth Bale, the maverick style, getting on the ball and doing his usual magic. A bit like the performance against Turkey.”
